Harvest<\/h3>

Liquorice roots are harvested from the ground after a 3-year vegetative cycle. After harvest, they are cleaned, dried out and pulped with special machines in preparation for boiling.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Extrusion<\/h3>

Liquorice roots are finely ground and pressed, then transformed in a paste. The juice is extracted from the paste through contact with jets of boiling water. Liquorice juice is then boiled and transformed into a thick and dark liquid.
